Inline homogenizer (IH)
The inline homogenizer is a variant of a two-chamber inline disperser. The second chamber is similar to the first and consists of a dispersing rotor/stator combination. In the first chamber, the product is first mixed and drawn through a dispersing disk before entering the second chamber.
This is followed by a dispersing process in which at least two products are mechanically broken down that would not combine under normal conditions. In the second phase, the downstream homogenization process, the resulting product is even more finely divided, which is accompanied by an increase in the surface area and thus leads to improved stability of the final product.
